Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital single lens reflex camera that allows a user to simply and freely switch a live view photograph and an optical finder photograph.SOLUTION: A digital single lens reflex camera is configured to enable a switch-over of: a first state where, when it is detected by eye-piece detection means that a user looks into optical finder means, a mirror is arranged at a prescribed location in an imaging optical path, and a subject image reflected upon the mirror is guided to the optical finder means; a second state where, when it is not detected that the user looks thereinto and it is detected by state detection means that imaging means is not in a prescribed state, the mirror is arranged at a location where the mirror retreats out of the imaging optical path, and the subject image photographed by the imaging means is displayed by display means; and a third state where, when it is not detected that the user looks thereinto and it is detected that the imaging means is in the prescribed state, the mirror is arranged at the prescribed location in the imaging optical path, and the subject image photographed by the imaging means and passing through the mirror is displayed by the display means.
