Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that has stabilized exposure accuracy during continuous shooting with an electronic front curtain and a rear curtain of a mechanical shutter.SOLUTION: There is provided an imaging device comprising: driving means including a first capacitor that drives a first shutter blade and a second capacitor that drives a second shutter blade; control means that controls a timing to discharge the first and second capacitors; and an imaging element that creates an image signal by photoelectrically converting a subject image, the imaging device performing exposure with reset scanning discharging electrical charge accumulated in the imaging element and drive of the second shutter blade, where the driving means includes switching means that switches between a first state of charging the first capacitor and a second state of stopping charging of the first capacitor. When the second capacitor is being charged after discharge and the amount of electrical charge accumulated in the first capacitor is larger than a predetermined value, the control means causes the switching means to switch from the first state to the second state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
