Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of generating still images captured without missing any unexpected chance.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging unit for generating image data from optical information input via an optical system unit; an image processor for performing predetermined processing on the image data generated by the imaging unit; and a controller for controlling the optical system unit, the imaging unit, and/or the image processor based on settings related to video imaging, to generate video data. The controller has a first video mode and a second video mode as video recording modes. In the second video mode, the controller automatically configures setting related to video imaging to a predetermined setting suitable for still image recording. At the time of recording in the second video mode, bracket imaging is performed in which at least one imaging setting condition (for example, exposure values α, α+1, α-1) is changed to generate multiple pieces of image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
