Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus comprising a function of enabling an operation of AF to a subject designated from a touch panel, in which there is a delay time until the imaging apparatus is shifted to an AF operation an operator uses the subject from an operation had selected the subject and touched to the touch panel, and therefore, it is difficult to touch the moving subject with the touch panel by the operator and to be operated the AF.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: automatic focus adjustment means of automatically adjusting a position of an image optical part and focusing it at a predetermined position; a display device that displays an imaging image; a touch panel that is provided on the display device; and live view photographing means of displaying the imaging image onto the display device in a real time. The imaging apparatus comprises: means of stopping the display of the live view photographing image; means of selecting an object on the stopped display image by the touch panel; and means of searching the searched object from the live view photographing image, and automatically brings a position of the searched object into focus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
