Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus determining a drive speed of a focus lens on the basis of a defocus amount detected by setting information of a photographer and focus detection means and moving the focus lens by the determined drive speed of the focus lens.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element having imaging pixels for performing imaging, pupil-dividing an inner part of the imaging pixels by a micro lens and receiving light flux by a plurality of focus detection pixels; display means for displaying an image photographed by the imaging element; focus detection means for detecting a defocus amount on the basis of either of output signals of the focus detection pixels of the imaging element or a movement amount of the focus lens; and focus adjustment means for adjusting the focus by driving the focus lens from the defocus amount detected by the focus detection means. The focus adjustment means determines a drive speed of the focus lens on the basis of setting information of a photographer and the defocus amount detected by the focus detection means, and moves the focus lens by the determined drive speed of the focus lens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
