Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of automatic changeover of color shooting mode (day mode) and monochrome mode (night mode) with same image quality, regardless of the characteristics of the connected lens.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus having a mechanism capable of exchanging a lens has opening aperture value acquisition means for acquiring the opening value of aperture of a connected lens, subject illuminance acquisition means, shooting mode automatic changeover means for automatically changing over color shooting mode (day mode) and monochrome mode (night mode) according to the subject illuminance, and a shooting mode changeover threshold compared with the subject illuminance, and automatically changing over the shooting mode. The shooting mode changeover threshold is corrected according to the opening value of aperture obtained by opening aperture value acquisition means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
