Abstract:
To provide a low power consumption imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a pixel capable of outputting difference data between two different frames, a circuit for determining the significance of the difference data, a circuit for controlling the supply of power, and an A/D converter or the like. The difference data is acquired after image data is acquired. When it is determined that there is no difference, the supply of the power to the A/D converter or the like is interrupted. When it is determined that there is a difference, the supply of the power to the A/D converter or the like is continued or resumed. The significance of the difference data is substantially simultaneously determined for each line of a pixel array or in the whole pixel included in the pixel array.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
