Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that eliminates the occurrence of excess toner sticking at a rising part of an edge and thin spot at a trailing part of the edge, on the basis of a paper feed direction.
SOLUTION: In the imaging device, a detection means detects the leading part and the trailing part of the edge, in a direction of paper carried by a carrying means to a transfer means as a reference. A correction data adding means adds prescribed correction data to one preceding pixel at the leading part of the edge and one succeeding pixel at the trailing part of the edge detected by the detection means in the paper feed direction.
