Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of detecting a face even when the face is dark and obtaining an image where noise is not recognizable.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes: a photometry part 16 for dividing a field into multiple areas and performing photometry; a first exposure calculation part 10a for calculating a first exposure value BvCntl 0 on the basis of the photometric result by the photometry part; a correction amount calculation part 10b for calculating a correction value Pre_HiRcv to restore the bright part of an object with respect to the first exposure value BvCntl 0 on the basis of the photometric result; a main object detection part 10c for detecting a main object on the basis of the photometric result; a main object luminance calculation part 10d for calculating the luminance BvObj of the main object; a correction amount limit part 10e for limiting the correction value Pre_HiRcv on the basis of the luminance BvObj of the main object; a second exposure calculation part 10a for calculating a second exposure value BvCntl 1 obtained by correcting the first exposure value BvCntl 0 on the basis of the limited correction value; and an imaging part 14 for imaging the object on the basis of the second exposure value BvCntl 1 and generating image data.
