Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that can suppress an exterior surface of a lens having the lens directed downwardly from being contaminated or scratched even when the lens is placed in an installation surface with the lens directed downwardly, in which the lens consists of an imaging optical system, and is arranged closest to an object side and has the exterior surface protruding outwardly in an optical axis direction further than an exterior lateral surface of an enclosure unit.SOLUTION: A front side face 13 of an imaging device 1 having an exterior surface 3a of a first lens 31a protruding outwardly in a direction of an optical axis:L0 of a first lens 31a further than the front side face 13 of an enclosure 10 is configured as follows. A virtual plane surface:Pa located outwardly further than the exterior surface 3a of the first lens 31a is configured to contact with the exterior surface 3a from an outside, and a longitudinal direction center vicinity part 18a and a lower end linear part 19a having a center of gravity:G of the imaging device 1 located not across a lens area:Oa and in an area between the part 18a and the lower end linear part 19a on the virtual plane surface :Pa are configured to be formed in the front side face 13. Further, the longitudinal direction center vicinity part 18a is configured to be formed nearer to the first lens 31a than the center of gravity:G, and the lower end linear part 19a is configured to be formed away from the first lens 31a further than the center of gravity:G.
