Abstract:
To provide an imaging device that can capture images having subjects on a reference plane focused, as suppressing increase in ISO sensitivity.SOLUTION: A controller 180 of a digital camera 100 is configured to cause (a) a focus lens drive unit 122 to move a focus lens 112 so as to have the focus lens focused on a first prescribed position P1 on a reference plane of a subject; (b) then, cause the focus lens drive unit 122 to move the focus lens 112 so as to make a focus position move from the first prescribed position P1 to a second prescribed position P2 on the basis of a position relationship between the first prescribed position P1 and the second prescribed position P2 whose height from the reference plane on an optical axis is a prescribed height; and (c) cause an image pick-up element tilting unit 160 to tilt an imaging plane of an image pick-up element 130 so that a focus plane is parallel with respect to the reference plane, and is a plane located at a prescribed height.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
