Abstract:
To provide an optical system having two optical units, which improves the productivity and achieves a simple and certain position setting of the mutual optical units.SOLUTION: The optical system includes holding bodies (12) including: lens positioning units (37, 38, and 39) for determining the positions of lenses (AR and BR) constituting optical units; and application units (50 and 51) disposed at the positions different from the lens positioning units. One holding body for holding one optical unit (A), of the two optical units, and the other holding body for holding the other optical unit (B) are configured so that the application units come into contact with each other while, during combination, each of the holding bodies keeps the lens positioning state determined by the lens positioning unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
