Abstract:
To reduce a sense of discomfort given to a user at the time of continuous shooting.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus for shooting a subject through an imaging optical system includes an image pick-up device acquiring an image signal from light focused by the imaging optical system, and control means for outputting a first image corresponding to a pixel part of first pixel number, and a second image corresponding to a pixel part of second pixel number smaller than the first pixel number, out of the pixel part of the image pick-up device, while changing over. The imaging apparatus further includes display means for displaying the first and second images in a display, and when displaying the first and second images alternately in the display, the display means forms a third image so that the difference of exposure parameters of the first and second images is reduced before being displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
