Abstract:
To provide an imaging device that can photograph a "miniaturized photograph" image of a digital camera, and obtain distinct effect.SOLUTION: When power is turned on, a system control unit 29 reads out setting contents, and determines whether setting is user setting or automatic setting during a "miniaturized photograph" process. During the user setting, it performs a blur process in a set blur region to monitor the region, moves to a setting screen in response to a change request for the blur region, and monitors the changed blur region. Furthermore, it confirms a subject detection mode, detects a face in an angle of view and performs a focusing process during a face detection mode, and stops detection when the face moves to the blur region. In addition, during the automatic setting, it monitors by setting an AF region which is AF processed at a first release to the center of an attention region, and its circumference to a blur region. When a second release is depressed, it transfers a main image from a CCD/CMOS unit 20 to an image processing unit 25 by shutter control from the monitoring process, deploys it to a memory unit 26, and applies the blur process to regions other than the focused subject to obtain effect.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
