Abstract:

To provide an imaging lens for a solid imaging device which has high resolution, however, which is stable regardless of a change in the temperature of use surroundings, and which can be produced at low cost, and to provide a camera module.

The imaging lens comprises, in order from image side, a first lens L1 which has a positive power, a second lens L2 of a meniscus shape which has a negative power, and a third lens L3 which has a positive power. The imaging lens satisfies the following conditions: (1) 0.5<f1/f<3.5, (2) 0.3<|f2|/f<2.5, and (3) 0.3<f3/f<1.4, wherein f is the focal length of the entire lens system, f1 is the focal distance of the first lens, f2 is the focal distance of the second lens, and f3 is the focal distance of the third lens.
