Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic imaging member whose photoinduction discharge characteristic (PIDC) curve does not vary with or owing to repetitive use.
The member includes, for example, a substrate, a charge blocking layer, an optional adhesive layer, a charge generating layer, a charge transport layer, and a coating forming binder. The charge generating layer comprises particles including a photogenerating material which is, for example, chlorogallium phthalocyanine dispersed in a matrix. The matrix includes a charge transport molecule, an electron transport molecule, and their mixture, and the electron transport molecule operates to increase the sensitivity of a chrologallium phthalocyanine pigment in the charge generating layer.
