Abstract:
To provide an imaging method and an imaging apparatus in which scanning speed and scanning control conditions can be altered easily when imaging is controlled by a master CPU for general control and a slave CPU for controlling document reading.
The imaging apparatus comprises a master CPU 21 for controlling the entire apparatus and designating the scanning speed of document reading of a slave CPU by a command, and the slave CPU 11 storing a plurality of line speed data as the scanning speed for document reading and controlling document reading by reading the data of a scanning speed designated by the master CPU through a command.
