Abstract:
To solve the conventional problem of a restricted SN ratio to be around 40 dB in the imaging method and the imaging apparatus of a moving image, because of an influence of a shot noise corresponding to an amount of a square root of the number of signal electrons.
With the provision of a plurality of exposure periods in one frame period, video signals corresponding to the exposure periods are integrated in a time axis direction, so as to improve the SN ratio. At the integration in the time axis direction, gradations i.e. the number of bits are increased, and thus, the number of bits in AD conversion can be reduced. Thus, high-speed AD conversion can be achieved.
