Abstract:

PURPOSE: To measure an anatomic image with high resolution and a functional image with high time resolution in the same cross-section simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: A first echo 15 is measured by exciting selectively the cross-section desired to measure by a first high-frequency magnetic field 11 and applying an encode gradient magnetic field 13 and a read out gradient magnetic field 14. Thence, a second echo 23 is measured by selecting a reduced small cross-section in an area in an excited cross-section by a second high-frequency magnetic field 17 and a third high-frequency magnetic field 19 and applying an encode gradient magnetic field 21 and a read out gradient magnetic field signal 22, and the echos can be measured simultaneously from the cross-section of large visual field and the one of small visual field.
