Thus inkjet ink which is curable by an active light is discharged onto a recording material, using the inkjet recording head which discharges an ink droplet by expanding and contracting the ink chamber upon the drive signal, and has the pause time set to a crosstalk dwindling time. The inkjet ink contains at least a coloring material, water and a polymer compound which has a plurality of side chains in a hydrophilic main chain, and further, can become crosslinked between the side chains by irradiating with active energy beams.
