Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging plate (IP) unit that has improved handleability enabling the easy determination of front and back in a dark room and durability in which the generation of scratch has suppressed, and the application of the same (apparatus, method, and template for photographing radiation images).SOLUTION: A light-shielding IP cover 22 is detachably attached to an IP 21. The IP 21 has a stimulable phosphor layer on one surface. The IP cover 22 is attached close to the stimulable phosphor layer. The IP 21 and IP cover 22 have notches 25, and part of a test object enters the notches 25. An IP unit 11 is attached to a blade welding part 26a of an impeller 26. A radiation irradiation device 12 irradiates the test object with radiation and records a radiation image of the blade welding part 26a in the IP 21 as a latent image. The IP cover 22 is detached from the IP unit 11, and the IP 21 is set to a template 30. The IP 21 is set to an image reading position of a radiation image photographing apparatus 13 with the template 30 to read the radiation image.
