Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system, an imaging apparatus, a display apparatus, a communication method, and a program which, even when the imaging apparatus and the display apparatus are grasped with the different hands of a user, are capable of urging the user to perform photographing operation with a correct composition.SOLUTION: An imaging system 1 comprises: an imaging apparatus 2 which generates image data; and a portable apparatus 3 comprising a display unit 37 capable of displaying an image corresponding to the image data generated by the imaging apparatus 2. The portable apparatus 3 comprises a combination determination unit 394 which determines whether or not the imaging apparatus 2 and the portable apparatus 3 are individually grasped with the different hands.
