Abstract:
To provide a control device and a control method for an imaging system that can further facilitate capturing of in-camera VFX videos using a plurality of imaging apparatuses.SOLUTION: There is provided a control device for an imaging system that performs imaging with an image displayed on a display as the background, the control device having: allocation means that allocates imaging periods with different timings to individual imaging apparatuses; imaging control means that controls the individual imaging apparatuses so that the individual imaging apparatuses perform imaging in the allocated imaging periods; and display control means that, in each of the imaging periods, causes the display to display an image according to the position and attitude of the imaging apparatus to which the imaging period is allocated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
