Abstract:
To provide an imaging system with which it is possible to acquire a speed image with good accuracy by a relatively simple composition.SOLUTION: The imaging system comprises: an illumination device for generating first light having a first frequency, dividing the first light into one portion and at least other one portion, and emitting the one portion of first light toward a subject that relatively moves; a mixed optical system for mixing the reflected light of first light having been reflected at the relatively moving subject and having caused a Doppler shift to occur with the at least other one portion of first light and generating an optical beat, the intensity of which changes at a beat frequency represented by a difference between a cycle in which the Doppler shift occurred and a first frequency; an imaging element, the sensitivity of which is variable in an exposure period; and a control circuit for causing the sensitivity of the imaging element at the beat frequency of the optical beat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
