There are provided an imaging means 3, a coaxial cable 2 which is connected to the imaging means 3 and transmits the video signal taken by the imaging means 3, a transistor circuit 12 which outputs, to the imaging means 3, the constant current power supplied to the imaging means 3 through the coaxial cable 2, a vertical synchronization pulse superimposing circuit 14 which superimposes vertical synchronization pulse on the constant current power supplied to the imaging means 3 through the coaxial cable 2 for transmission to the imaging means 3, and a voltage changing means 15 which decreases the value of voltage parameter Vce related to the amount of heating of the transistor circuit 12 which supplies the constant current power to the imaging means 3 through the coaxial cable 2, to a prescribed value or lower around the vertical synchronization pulse which is superimposed.
