Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound scarcely having possibility of destructive decomposition, almost free from producing a gaseous by-product in high ratio therewith and having effective fluorination ability and having higher heat stabil ity.
SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I [R1 to R3 are each H, a halogen, a 1-8C alkyl, a 1-8C haloalky or an alkoxyalkyl, or the like, in which the alkoxy part is a 1-3C and the alkyl group is a 1-8C; R' and R" are each H, a halogen, a 1-8C alkyl, a 1-8C haloalkyl, a haloalkoxyalkyl, or the like, in which the haloalkoxy part is a 1-3C and the alkyl part is a 1-8C], e.g. 1-morpholino-1'-imidazolesulfinyl difluoride. The compound of formula I is produced by reacting, e.g. a compound of formula II with a compound of the formula RSiMe3 and reacting the resultant compound of formula III with a compound of the formula R'R"NSF3.
