To provide an imitation candle with little soot, without being shortened by burning, nor damaged in an appearance by the drop of wax, easy to ignite, and with mechanisms saving labor for restoring the die-out of a flame, and extinguishing a flame when fallen down with a simple structure.
The imitation candle 1 forming flame 70 by the combustion of gas is composed of a fuel storing part 20 housing a gas cylinder 10, a cylindrical body 50 imitating a candle, an injection nozzle 52 fitted in the vicinity of the top end of the cylindrical body 50 for injecting gas, gas channels 18, 39 guiding the gas from the fuel storing part 20 to the injection nozzle, ignition means 52, 54 igniting the gas injected from the injection nozzle 52 by an electric spark to form the flame 70 by the combustion of the gas injected from the injection nozzle 52, and a flame die-out detection means 55 automatically restoring the ignition when the die-out is detected. In addition, a tip-over time extinction means of a simple structure is provided.
