Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain equal sludge peeling effect using an air amt. less than that used when air bubbles are applied to the entire rear surface of a membrane unit and to reduce the deviation of air diffusion.
CONSTITUTION: In an immersion membrane apparatus wherein a membrane unit 11 is immersed in the liquid of a treatment tank 10 and an air diffusion pipe is fitted under the membrane unit and filtered treated water transmitted through a membrane is obtained, the air diffusion pipe 14 is made movable along the rear surface of the membrane unit.
