To provide conductive energy arms to individuals for higher self defense to make a human target immobilized without a long-lasting damage or death.
Systems and methods for immobilizing a target such as a human or an animal with the use of a stimulus signal coupled with the target via numerous electrodes 142 with a specific selected electrode group 142 for use for the stimulus signals. Electrode subsets 142 may be tested by applying a test signal and monitoring the energy or a charge amount supplied during a prescribed time. If the supplied energy or the charge amount using a specific electrode subset 142 as indicated by monitoring test pulse amplitudes suitably compares with a limit value, that specific subset is selected for applying the stimulus signal.
