To provide a manufacturing method for a protein immobirizing carrier in which a satisfactory quantity of protein is adsorbed in such an arrangement as to reveal physiological activity without finally deteriorating the physiological activity of protein represented by component used in measuring the immunity of antigen, antibody or the like or a component having a high industrial use value such as enzyme or the like.

With protein dissolved in a buffer solution containing an organic solvent with such a concentration not to irreversibly denature the protein, the protein is brought into contact with a solid carrier insoluble in the organic solvent to be adsorbed and immobilized, and then washed by a water solvent to lower the organic solvent concentration.
