Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of treating, reducing the incidence of, or inducing immune responses to Wilms tumor protein 1 (WT-1)-expressing cancer cells.SOLUTION: The methods comprise administering one or more immunogenic peptides derived from the WT-1 peptide protein. The invention also provides: an isolated WT-1 peptide that can bind to an HLA class I molecule, or an isolated WT-1 peptide that can bind to an HLA class II molecule; compositions comprising the immunogenic peptides and antigen-presenting cells; and vaccines comprising the immunogenic peptides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
