Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an immunological aggregate measuring apparatus which can measure a size and number of aggregate lumps in a time series.
CONSTITUTION: A laser light of a semiconductor laser light source for measuring an intensity of a scattered light is collimated by a condensing lens 2, and irradiated to the vicinity of an inner wall in a sample glass cell containing antigen and antibody. Scattered lights from aggregate lumps in sample solution are measured as electric signals via photodiodes 8 (8a-8d) of a plurality of photoreceivers via a light receiving lens 6. Outputs of the photodiodes 8 are current/voltage-converted and amplified by an amplifier 10, then ADD-converted by an A/D converter 11, input to a computer 12, and date for indicating particle size and number of the lumps are calculated.
