There is provided the impact-absorbing rope 10 prepared by twisting polyamide fibers 1, and having a diameter of 10 to 40 mm, wherein the polyamide fibers 1 have an elongation of 50 to 200%, a toughness of 200 to 400%*cN/dtex, and a boiling water shrinkage factor of 5 to 8%.
