To provide an bumper which has large impact absorption power in spite of a simple composition and also is surely fixed so as not to fall down by vibration, in the impact absorption type rear bumper for truck and the like which is formed by mounting an impact absorption member made using polyester series thermoplastic resin excellent in impact absorption property on a rear bumper body.
A impact absorption member 6 is provided with a cavity part and also with attachment holes 6A which connect with this cavity part, and a bracket 2, one end of which is fixed to a frame, and rear bumper body 5 are provided with projecting studs 3. After passing the studs 3 through the attachment holes 6A of the impact absorption member 6, fixing metals are inserted to tip parts of the studs 3 to be secured.
