To provide an impact force absorbing device for a vehicle absorbing large impact load, while suppressing an increase of a vehicle overall length.
This impact force absorbing device includes a lower reinforce 17 provided along the vehicle width direction at a vehicle body front end part, a lower cross member 15 provided along the vehicle width direction at the vehicle body front end part and arranged on a rear part of the lower reinforce 17, and a lower crash can 16 connecting the lower reinforce 17 to the lower cross member 15 and absorbing impact load, while crushing, when the impact load is applied to the lower reinforce 17 from the vehicle body front. The lower cross member 15 is capable of storing the lower reinforce 17 at the inside when the lower reinforce 17 is moved to the vehicle body rear side due to crushing of the lower crash can 16.
