Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a composition excellent in mechanical properties such as impact resistance, gas-barrier property, thermoformability, recovering characteristics and hot-water-retort resistance and also having excellent stress- crack resistance against an organic liquid such as gasoline.
CONSTITUTION: This is a resin composition obtained by compounding a polyalcohol polymer (A) obtained by reducing a polyketone consisting of a carbon monoxide-ethylene copolymer and a thermoplastic resin (B) other than a polyolefin resin and having a weight ratio of the component A to the component B of 99/1 to 1/99. Another resin composition is obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. of the obtained resin composition with 0.1-50 pts.wt. of a modified thermoplastic resin (C) having a functional group reactive with the polyalcohol A.
