Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact type cutter capable of separating an unnecessary part from a cast product part in a metal mold cast product by striking it with a momentary impact force without giving a shock or adverse effects to a robot.SOLUTION: An impactor 2 is arranged on the bottom face of an installation base 1 disposed in a three-dimensional movement transportation path of a metal mold cast product D taken out of a casting apparatus M by gripping with a robot arm R. The impactor 2 has an impact rod 6 formed integrally with a piston 5 arranged in a cylinder housing 3 to elevate through the cylinder housing 3 so that the tip may project from the lower end of a guide cylinder 4 coupled in a projection form below the cylinder housing 3, a fall compression air supply port 7 and a rise compression air supply port 8 formed by openings in the top and bottom parts of the cylinder housing 3, and an impact absorption stop part 9 provided in the bottom in the cylinder housing 3 to be configured with an operation speed of the impact rod 6 in the impactor 2 at 8 m/s or more, and an applied pressure of fall compression air to the piston 5 at 4 Kgf/cmor more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
