Abstract:
To prevent a boundary layer generated on the surface of a hub from being locally concentrated and increase the efficiency of a compressor by reducing the thickness of the boundary layer.
This impeller 10 of the compressor comprises a plurality of blades 11 and the hub 12 disposed at the root part R of these plurality of blades 11. At least a part of the surface 12c of the hub 12 on which a fluid flows is tilted relative to the rotating axis thereof. Boundary layer reducing means 13a and 13b reducing the thickness of the boundary layer generated by the flow of the fluid are installed on the surface 12c of the hub 12.
