Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller improved to overcome drawbacks in the prior art and to allow provision in a simple and economical manner.SOLUTION: An impeller (1) for an electric fan has a central hub (2) for connection to a rotor of an electric motor, and a plurality of blades (3) extends from the hub. The hub (2) is bowl-shaped, with an end wall (2a) which is connected to an annular lateral wall (2b) and has a plurality of slots (5) separated circumferentially from each other. The slots (5) are inclined in the same direction with respect to the radial direction. A plurality of ribs (6) protrude from an inner surface (2c) of the end wall (2a) between the slots (5), and are also inclined in the same direction with respect to the radial direction and adapted to serve as inner fan blades. The ribs (6) have at least one substantially transverse cut-out or interruption (6a, 6b, 6c) in a predetermined position.
