Title:
IMPELLER PUMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3286794
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent decrease of ability to supply hot water due to generating bubbles by eccentrically placing a suction port, provided in the vicinity of the rotational axial line of an impeller arranged in a pump chamber, relating to a rotary shaft.
CONSTITUTION: When a magnet 9 is driven by magnetic coupling of a drive magnet 10 rotated by a motor 35, an impeller 8 integrally formed with this magnet 9 is rotated to suck liquid in a vessel 20 from a suction port 12 supplied through a delivery port 13. Here, by eccentrically placing the suction port 12 relating to a rotary shaft 5 of the impeller 8, a flow of the liquid in the suction port 12 by rotating the impeller is delayed in a point A or the like separated from the rotary shaft 5. Accordingly, bubbles in a pump chamber 3 of rising by buoyancy are moved to the vessel 20 in the vicinity of the point A where is generated a small flow speed. In this way, ability to supply hot water is prevented from decreasing due to impeding a flow of the liquid by concentrating bubbles in the suction port 12.
