Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve cavitations occurring at the rotation of an impeller, to prevent intake air, to shorten an initial bath water suction time and to increase the volume of discharge water. SOLUTION: A closed type impeller equipped with a shroud ring at a suction pipe side 20 and a shroud ring 25 at a motor side is changed to the semi-open type impeller 10 which opens the shroud ring 25 at the motor side, and curved surface shape is provided in the inner face of a water intake 29 which is not equipped with a prominent cylindrical wall at the center of the shroud ring at the suction pipe side.
