Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an impeller for a vortex flow blower, and a method for the manufacture thereof, allowing the easy removal of a casting die after a casting process as well as ensuring mechanical strength and the easy fabrication of the casting die for molding the impeller.

CONSTITUTION: With a rapping hole (c) formed on a section closed with a blade 12, viewed from the open side of the annular groove of a hub 10, at least the hub 10, a wheel 8 and a plurality of blades 12 are integrally molded, thereby preparing the first member. Then, the second member for closing the rapping hole (c) of the first member is prepared and fastened to the second member, thereby making an impeller for a vortex flow blower.
