Abstract:
To provide a water block structure and the like which can easily block water in a vertical shaft.SOLUTION: The inside of a vertical shaft 1 is divided into a stop-log installation chamber 12 and a maintenance chamber 13 by a partition wall 11 having an opening 111, and a stop-log 14 for closing the opening 111 is installed in the stop-log installation chamber 12. Grooves 121 into which both side portions of the stop-log 14 are inserted are provided at both sides of the stop-log installation chamber 12, and a door stop face 121a at a lower part of the groove 121 includes a slope proceeding forward as going downward. When the stop-log 14 is lifted down in the stop-log installation chamber 12, the stop-log 14 slides along the slope of the door stop face 121a, and the stop-log 14 is pressed to the partition wall 11 side. A top end of the stop-log 14 is below water level in the vertical shaft 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
