Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively perform melting of incineration ash by providing a melting accelerator, against a tip end of which a combustion gas impinges, on a furnace wall of a furnace casing facing an injection nozzle for burning and jetting a gas and a mixture of an oxide and ash.
CONSTITUTION: An injection nozzle 2 is provided on a furnace casing 1 for burning and jetting a gas and a mixture of an oxide and ash. A gas and an oxidant (preheated air of high temperature or oxygen) is fed into the injection nozzle 2, so that combustion begins and incineration ash is mixed with the combustion gas for combustion. With the combustion reaction, ash particles begin to melt at their surfaces. During the reaction, a high temperature mixture is jetted from the injection nozzle 2 at high speed to impinge against a tip end 4 of a melting accelerator 3 of ceramics to progress combustion and melting. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively perform melting of incineration ash.
