Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for periodically inspecting completeness of an electric lead wire by means of responding a regulating signal for inspecting the lead completeness generated by a low voltage regulated circuit and evaluating the impedance of the electric lead wire. SOLUTION: Starting an inspection by a microprocessor-theoretical circuit 118, it communicates to a regulating circuit for applying a shock for cardiac defibrillating 126, and informs which lead is to be inspected to a shock applying circuit 132 through an insulating circuit 136. The shock applying circuit 132 connects the selected leads 106 and 108 to an impedance comparison circuit 138. When receiving a signal that the completeness may be in danger, a case 112 is used together with leads 106 and 108 in order for determined which lead 106 or 108 is damaged. Impedance to be evaluated comprises a transfer impedance passing the shock applying circuit 132 and an impedance of the leads 106, 108 and of the interface between the leads-tissue.
