Abstract:
To provide an implantable prosthetic valve having a new configuration.
The present invention provides a valve prosthesis adapted to be initially crimped in a narrow configuration suitable for catheterization through body ducts to a target location and adapted to be deployed by a state in the target location. The invention also provides a prosthetic valve assembly including (a) a valve with outlet formed of flexible materials aligned so as to present foldable walls at an end of an inlet 9 and an outlet 10; and (b) a support structure positioned in a target location in the body, and adapted to deploy the valve assembly using a deployment means.
