Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve on an implement for holding and carrying containers to obtain one which is durable and offers ease in handling a plurality of containers.
SOLUTION: A plastic kit 20 for carrying a plurality of containers 22 has container- holding parts 32, 34 which are formed of plastic sheet. Each of the container-holding parts is provided with a plurality of bands each of which defines an opening for engaging with the side wall of a container constituting togethere with others a package. Each of the container-holding parts has a top edge 40 and side edges 44, 46 opposed to each other. The top edges of the container-holding parts are glued to each other to form a connecting part 48 with each of the container-holding parts hung from the connecting part naturally. The connecting part is continuous longitudinally. The two side edges of each container-holding part each have a notch 52 at a point under the connecting part so that in the stretching with bands around the containers by the use of a jaw type stretching machine the tension that works on the two ends of the connecting part is moderated. A plurality of cut-out pieces 58 are arranged in rows, each piece extending downward under the connecting part of the container- holding parts and positioned between mutually adjacent openings.
