Abstract:
To provide an implement and a method for measuring the rate of blood platelet stagnation.
In the implement 10 for measuring the rate of blood platelet stagnation, coated beads 4 are filled in a cylindrical tube 1. The cylindrical tube 1 has no bottom and is provided with both a part 2 for introducing sample blood at one end and a part 3 for guiding out the sample blood at the other end. The coated beads 4 are acquired by coating spherical beads of diameters between 120-220 μm with a substance (type I collagen, ADP (adenosine 5-dipl asphate sodium salt), or vWF (von willebrand factor) which causes agglutination.
