To prevent oxidation combustion of impurity during removing work of the impurity by enabling oxidation prevention gas or combustion prevention gas to be spouted to a scooping part from a handle part of a removing implement thereby protecting the impurity scooped up from molten metal surface by gas atmosphere.
This implement for removing the impurity is composed of the scooping part for impurity and the handle part fitted to the scooping part. The handle part is formed into hollow-shape with the use of a tubular body equipped with a stop valve. At the rear end of the handle part, a connecting implement for a gas hose is provided. The inside of the handle part is configured to function as a gas passage and oxidation prevention gas or the combustion prevention gas can be spouted to the scooping part from the distal end opening of the gas passage.
