PURPOSE: To rapidly start an ImPP object program by converting the ImPP object program into numerical data, integrating the numerical data in a program on the host computer side and setting up the program in an ImPP without accessing an auxiliary storage device.

CONSTITUTION: When the ImPP (image pipelined processor) object program 5 is converted into numerical data and the data are previously integrated in the program on the host computer side, an image memory control means 6 writes the program in an image memory 3. An ImPP control means 8 starts a self-object loading function of an MAGIC 2 and applies a start token to the ImPP 1 through the MAGIC 2 after the end of the self-object loading function. Consequently, the ImPP program can be rapidly started.
